Tami Nguyen is a communications specialist, freelance multimedia creator, and live event A/V specialist with expertise in photography, video journalism, and innovative storytelling. Her work spans linear broadcast, online media, sports, concerts, entertainment, academia, and politics.
In 2016, Tami established her multimedia brand under the social media handle @bostontamcam. With a diverse background in live production and digital media, she has contributed to high-profile events such as the Boston Calling Music Festival, iHeartMedia concerts, NHL Stanley Cup Finals, NBA Finals, NCAA March Madness tournaments, and more. Her notable roles include serving as a Jumbotron camera operator at TD Garden (home of the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics), where she has also worked as a camera operator for concert video productions on IMAG.
From 2020–2025, Tami achieved significant milestones in communications and media, including:
Photographing and promoting six New York Times bestsellers and four national book tours
Coordinating interview appearances for the Oscar-shortlisted and Emmy-nominated Netflix documentary STAMPED FROM THE BEGINNING, produced by OneStoryUp (a company co-founded by Oscar and Emmy-winning director Roger Ross Williams)
Managing logistics for SKIN IN THE GAME TV series with ESPN+ in collaboration with Religion of Sports (founded by Gotham Chopra, Michael Strahan, and Tom Brady)
Supporting and researching for the BE ANTIRACIST podcast with Pushkin Industries (co-founded by Malcolm Gladwell)
